Ultimus Releases Business Process Management Test Drives in the Cloud

Cary, NC (PRWEB)

Ultimus, Inc., developer of one of the most widely used business process management (BPM) software suites in the world, is making available three self-guided demo environments in the cloud which incorporate real-life Ultimus customer processes. The purpose of these “Test Drives” is to showcase various aspects of the Ultimus BPM Suite.

The first is referred to as the “Ultimus Test Drive” and is designed to provide a full end user experience. It gives an introduction to the benefits of process automation through a Purchase Request Process. Here, participants can see how the Ultimus BPM Suite can easily handle denials, approvals, and role-based routing. After reviewing the test drive, independent analyst and systems architect Sandy Kemsley wrote, “We need more of what Ultimus is doing in terms of customer (or prospect) education: the chance for a quick, hands-on demo of software that we’re expecting people to spend a good part of their day interacting with in the future.” The full review can be read at Column 2: Taking a BPMS Test Drive.

Ultimus has also established the SharePoint Integration Test Drive featuring an Employee Review Process. Chuck Schroeder, Director of Reporting and Analysis at Ateb, Inc. found the experience worthwhile. “This is exactly what we needed to see. We have multiple departments using various document repositories, and now I have seen how Ultimus can drive the process and unify our documents into one searchable repository.” The purpose of this particular test drive is to demonstrate how business process management can extend the value of Microsoft SharePoint, increasing productivity with the tools in which an organization has already invested.

Lastly, Ultimus provides a Process Designer Test Drive featuring the Patient Scheduling Process. This self-guided demo explains how Ultimus Process Designer can be used for determining process efficiency and making sure bottlenecks do not happen while also validating process improvement.

Each of the test drives allows individuals to experience a key component of the product at their own time and pace while participating in each step of the process. They take between 20 to 45 minutes to complete. Those interested can sign up at http://www.ultimustestdrive.com.
