The 2010 Homeland Security Award was given to Northrop Grumman, and Objectivity, Inc. for the company’s role in enabling of the ASA (Analyst Support Architecture) project. Headed by Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Air Force Electronic Systems Center PICSTER program, the ASA platform makes it possible to rapidly integrate very large amounts of national and tactical multi-source data from air defense, maritime domain awareness and intelligence environments, significantly improving event discovery, situational awareness, collaboration and decision processes in support of critical operations.

Government Security News Magazine and four star General Barry McCaffrey presented the GSN 2010 Homeland Security Awards to winners from several categories at a gala event in Washington D.C., on Monday, November 8. During the evening General McCaffrey, president of BR McCaffrey & Associates, adjunct professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and distinguished expert commentator for NBC Television, was also presented with the 2010 GSN Award for Extraordinary Leadership and Service in Homeland Security.
